I work with many different types of metal in my job, and there are certain things that I put together that need to be protected from the elements. Over time, metals will become corroded when they are exposed, and so it is important that you have the right product to coat it with that will keep it safe and keep it from deteriorating. Different people like to use different products to coat their metals, but I have found that nylon coating for metal generally works best for me. There are a number of reasons for this, but the main thing is the fact that nylon itself is not all that expensive, the coating does quite a bit to protect the metal from the elements, and it is actually quite easy to apply.
In fact, the ease with which nylon can be applied to metal is one of the main reasons why it is my favorite product to use. I can either paint it on, spray it on, or dip the metal directly into it. Of course, which method I choose for application is all dependent upon what type of metal I am working with and what it is going to be used for. If the finished product will be exposed to the elements constantly, then I want to make sure that there is a thick coating applied, and I will generally dip the metal into it. If I just need a thin coating, spraying tends to do the trick just fine.
It all comes down to your specific product, but in most cases, nylon will give you the protection that you need and it will not cost you a whole lot of money. This is why I love using nylon to coat my metal products.
