Open House: St. Vincent de Paul

Open House New York weekend is coming up again on October 10 & 11. Billed as "America's largest architecture and design event in the city," Open House New York gives access to buildings and sites of architectural and historical interest in the 5 boroughs that are normally closed to the public.
Our good friends at Save St. Vincent de Paul Church will be keeping the church open all day and giving tours on Saturday, October 10. Olga Statz, host of CECPP's French-themed fete in June, is leading efforts to convince the Landmarks Preservation Commission to hold a public hearing on St. Vincent de Paul, one of far too many sites throughout New York City overlooked for landmark protection. If you haven't had the chance to check out this important, historic building, this is your chance!
Drop by and see what's at stake...and what might be lost without key improvements to the landmarks process!
